Recently, I’ve been debating on buying an Apple Macbook. I’ve never tried Vista, I’m just assuming it sucks due to all of the reviews that I’ve read. Apple is known to have an unreal markup on their hardware prices and that deters me from buying directly from Apple.

Luckily, Lifehacker has constructed a How-To on building a computer that will run Leopard titled “Hackintosh” and the benchmarks prove that the Hackintosh computer compares rather well with the Macbook Pro.

My new project is going to be constructing a Hackintosh machine and trying to keep cost under $500. If all goes well, look forward to a great way to make an awesome computer. I just wanted to note, we’re not Microsoft haters here, but I’m always willing to try an alternative.
